Fawn's Back

Fawn and FredWe spent this last springtime in the Hamptons, then Fred and I went off at the end of May up to Saratoga, NY. It was great to be up there with our dear friend Bill and his trusty dog, Billibob.

Fawn's our dearly loved and troubled 1985 SEL Mercedes had been sitting on Bill's land since I had my fateful crash with her last August. I could feel our car was just sitting there waiting for us to help her even if it just meant to sell her off to someone who would love her.

A few days later Fred tried to start the car up but nothing happened because the battery is dead. The car hadn't been started in months and it's clear we need to get a new battery. Bill tells us about a place close by and this is a big help because it's very hard to move the car, with the way I crashed it, the whole back end is completely crunched in.

At the battery place Fred meets up with the very upbeat owner of the shop, Beth. Fred shares with her how much we love the car, but the estimates we have been given to fix her are way too high. So it's with sadness that we are looking to sell her. Beth recommends a guy down the road who might be able to help us do something with the car.

Fred calls Rodney the guy she told him about. He agrees to come and check the car out. He does and then calls Fred telling him that he has a special very high tech machine that can pull the car out. This very costly machine will uncrunch the car and then he'll a complete picture of what's really going on with the car.

We take a day to have the time to pray, meditate on getting the right clarity about what to do or not do with the car. It becomes very clear to us both after being in our prayer and asking process that it's a go to do the 'pull' then see what's condition the car's in.

We love Fawn and at this point just want what's best for her, whatever that will be. Rodney calls after the pull telling Fred that the car isn't as bad as she looks. He suggests that he'll look her over more completely and work up an estimate of what it would cost to fix her up.

After looking over his estimate a few days later, Fred and I agree that the estimate is fair and now we can restore the car. So it's a go and after 5 weeks or so,the final call comes in from Rodney that the car is finished and ready to go on the road.

Fred, our dear friend Bill, and I drove over the next morning. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. We drive over to Rodney's where the car is sitting outside the office door. She looks perfect. I believe it's some kind of miracle that she's back even more beautiful than before!

Bill later shares with me that when he and Fred first walked up to the car, he looked over at Fred and saw that he had tears in his eyes. Oh my, it's so great for me to be one of the ways that Spirit/Divine Source worked the magic of manifestation.

I can't help but smile giving thanks to my Master Teacher's for all the most wonderous, unexpected ways Fred and I were guided and provided for. Now we have Fawn back into our lives, better than ever and yes, Fawn's back!

Love/Light blessings to you all, Katrina
